Vote on the Zimbabwe Hot 100

Support your favourite song and help shape Zimbabwe’s official Top 100 chart. Rankings are powered by real listener engagement and updated weekly.

Vote & Follow the Chart

We are currently beta testing the voting section of the Zimbabwe Hot 100. During this testing phase, listener votes are being collected, monitored, and analysed, but they do not yet influence the official chart rankings.

This phased approach allows us to build a voting system that is fair, representative, and resistant to manipulation.

When Voting Will Count

Listener voting will be formally introduced into the chart formula once we consistently record a minimum of 5,000 verified votes in a single chart week.

This threshold is essential. The Zimbabwe Hot 100 is designed to reflect national listening behaviour, not the activity of a small or highly organised fan base. Reaching this level of participation ensures that voting represents a broad cross-section of listeners across the country, giving the data real statistical weight.

How Votes Will Be Factored

Once activated, listener votes will become a weighted component of each song’s total chart score.

Votes will not operate as a standalone popularity contest. Instead, they will be combined with other core performance indicators such as streaming activity, views, and audience engagement across platforms. This ensures that:

  • Songs cannot top the chart purely through mass voting alone
  • Sustained public interest and repeat listening remain central to chart success
  • Fan enthusiasm enhances, rather than distorts, the rankings

In practical terms, voting will act as a multiplier of momentum. Songs that are already connecting with listeners will benefit most when fans actively vote in support of them.

Why Verified Voting Matters

All votes will be verified and filtered to remove duplicates, automated activity, and suspicious patterns. This safeguards the chart’s integrity and ensures that every counted vote reflects a genuine listener choice.

By prioritising quality over volume, we ensure that the Zimbabwe Hot 100 remains credible, transparent, and trusted by artists, fans, and the wider music industry.

Your Role as a Listener

We encourage readers to take part by voting via our official WhatsApp channel and sharing the platform with other music fans. Reaching and sustaining the weekly participation target will allow listener votes to play a direct and measurable role in shaping future charts.

The Zimbabwe Hot 100 is being built with listeners at its centre. As voting becomes fully integrated, your voice will not just be heard — it will count.
